Biography

My interests are in law enforcement as it pertains to protection of the resource and tribal rights. I started as an officer and worked my way up to sergeant, a position I’ve held since February, 1988. I’m the department’s lead firearms instructor, head of the ARPA investigation group of the department, and, along with the other sergeant, the lead in the FTO (training) for new officers for the department. I’ve been on the board of directors for the Native American Fish & Wildlife Society since 1999 as Pacific Region Co-director. (The region includes Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Northern California, Northern Nevada, and Western Montana). My outside interests are traveling, shooting handguns, visiting family, and the occasional casino.
