Biography
I am an educator and trainer with teaching experience at the K-12, community college, university, and adult levels. I have also worked at the regional educational laboratory as an Equity Specialist and at the Oregon Department of Education as an Indian Education Specialist. I moved into private sector work a few years ago. I was a trainer, writer, researcher, and compiled reports for Cooper Zeitz Engineers (now AKANA), a native owned firm. While working for CZE, I was tasked with writing, organizing, gathering data and materials to complete the Final Report for 100-581, The Columbia River Treaty Fishing Access Sites. I also conducted the field research and interviews for the Columbia River Housing Feasibility Study. As a researcher and teacher of researchers the organization and accessibility of information is paramount and I am excited to perform this service to the StreamNet Library. Outside of work I enjoy reading, gardening, and sewing. I am the grandmother of four children who range in age from 9 to 15 years old.
