Biography

Since completing my BS in Fisheries and Wildlife Management I’ve worked in a variety of water resources positions. Early in my career I worked in water quality with the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency and the Huron River Watershed Council where I coordinated a water quality and flow monitoring program. I also have experience working locally with the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife conducting fish habitat and abundance surveys. More recently my graduate research at Washington State has focused on urban watersheds and water temperature. I’m interested in applying knowledge gained from previous positions and recent research involving thermal pollution from urban areas at CRITFC to investigate processes driving increasing stream temperatures beyond the riparian boundary. I work for CRITFC as a Fishery Biologist leading Columbia Habitat Monitoring Program surveys (CHaMP) in the Grand Ronde Basin. Outside of work I love cycling, fishing, and enjoying PNW summers.
