Columbia River Intertribal Housing Fair and Workshop

There is a significant tribal housing need on the Columbia River. The US Army Corps of Engineers has an obligation to replace housing that was lost due to the construction of the hydropower dams, however, today’s needs far outweigh the housing that the Corps is likely to build. CRITFC, NAYA Family Center, and ATNI will be hosting a Columbia River housing fair and advocacy workshop on August 10 in Hood River, Oregon to discuss this issue, steps going forward, and connect river residents with current housing services.

The event is an open and public event for:

  • tribal members living on the Columbia River
  • tribal housing authority representatives
  • tribal leadership
  • friends of or supporting organizations to the formation of a Columbia River Intertribal Housing Entity

All are welcome.
