Christa Grimm was born and raised in Oregon. Her artwork is influenced by the forests, meadows, and expanse of this land—manifested in vibrant colors and fresh dramatic brush strokes. Christa’s paintings are alive with movement; she uses the highest saturation of color. Along with a strong confident brushstroke, she explores the interplay between opposite colors similar to Fauvism.

Christa Grimm’s work has been exhibited in numerous one-woman and group shows. She has created permanent installations for the Salem Hospital, murals for area restaurants, and other large-scale commission projects for clients such as Tyee Productions and Herman Miller. Her work has been featured on the cover of Oregon Focus magazine.
