Mr. Lavadour is a master beadwork artist and owner of a Pendleton art gallery. He is a member of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, has exhibited his work in galleries nationwide and in several exhibits at the Oregon History Center, where he has taught and lectured. He has also participated in the Oregon Historical Society's mentoring program to pass indigenous art forms on to the younger artists.
