Cecilia Henle pastels and prints have been exhibited and collected across the United States and Europe for almost twenty years. Her pastels are known for their rich textures and stories depicting ancient rock and cave art from Europe to the Americas.

Her studies and artistic exploration of the styles and meanings of both European and Native American primitive art led to a deep respect and appreciation for man’s ancient artistic beginnings.

Cecilia’s oil paintings explore the more textural and abstract nature of earth’s cave, rock, and mineral formations, with the addition of gold and copper leaf and patinas to further explore the ideas and images so inspiring about the ancient beginnings of art.
